Topiary plants
Topiary is the skill of the interested gardener in turning his pride and joy into a huge exhibition of designs which are visible for the topiary enthusiast. A skilled gardener can turn a flourishing garden into a variety of designs which can provide joy and happiness to almost everyone. Although the comparison to bonsai is common, topiary doesn't always focus on miniature and dwarfed plants. Topiary plants aim to change your existing and seasonal greenery into a wide landscape of traditional designs which can provide continual pleasure. You can make exceptional carvings for your backyard, patch, or even inner rooms and offices.
You don't have to have a flourishing green thumb to be a topiary plants enthusiast .The hobby is so easy even the beginner can be guarded into following the habit, the easiest way possible. Initially you may find it difficult to conceptualize a design and execute it. Your garden bunny may look like a mutated rhino. But don't worry with constant practice, you can make topiary plants which are impressive and easy to recognize.
Topiary can be cultivated in an office as well as in the home and in your garden patch. You can have beautiful pyramids, cones or squares or arches with beautiful birds on it. The experienced beginner can also try out arches, mazes, container with topiary birds on it. Suffice to say that with imagination you can use any tree for your topiary hobby.
Topiary plants!
Using a container for your topiary garden is an extremely attractive option. Some manufacturers can supply the container along with a wire frame for the topiary plants.
1. You can easily make topiary plants into a duck or goose sitting on container as nest. Picture a duck or hen sitting in a 'nest' of grasses along with a topiary egg.
2. You can also make a lofty ivy funnel surrounded with the shrub impatience, around the base, along with ivy occupying the space in between the flowers.
3. You can also arrange a large quail topiary plant along with smaller hen or duck topiary plants around it, as a windowsill ornament.
4. Two ivy topiary plants can surround a doorway as a traditional entrance. You can use antique containers like Victorian urns which would enhance an entrance hall.
Topiary plants have the benefit of being able to be mobile around the house as desired. You can also use the shrubs as an office decoration and for interior designing.

Topiary Tip #1
You must use patience when tending and creating your topiary project. They grow slowly and if you rush and trim too much or too deep into your topiary plant you could wind up killing it.

Topiary Tip #2
If you do not have a green thumb or don't have the time to take care of a live topiary plant that doesn't mean that you can't enjoy your own topiary. Take a look at some of the artificial topiary creations that are made out of silk. They are extremely lifelike, require zero maintenance and will last forever.

Topiary Tip #3
Start Small. If you are new to creating and growing topiary, then it is highly recommended that you start with a small topiary project like a ball or a vine ladder and stick with that until you get the hang of it. It would be a shame to get into a project over your head and wind up ruining your topiary.
